This review was for Halloween night, which for this year was on a Friday night. My friend had sent me a flyer that said there was no cover. I arrived around 1030pm. There was a $10 cover, but it included a drink. A little disappointing but oh well, it was halloween and my friend's bday. It was pretty empty. There were two levels, and the first level had maybe 8 people. On the second floor, there was probably another 8 people. Maybe i'm getting old, but I feel like 1030pm is already late, and if there are only 16 some people in your bar, it isn't a happening place. But again, I was there for a friend's bday. So at least I was able to buy him his obligatory birthday drink. The music was good, they played all upbeat fun music. However, I don't really remember it much since I was trying to catch up with old friends. Since it was Halloween, the TV's were playing old horror/thriller movies instead of sports. The place was okay, but I could see why this place is getting only average reviews. The atmosphere was chill though. It's a nice place to hang out for drinks without having to put up too much effort or to deal with trendy hipsters. The staff and bartenders were friendly. Provided quick service and the drinks were a bit on the stiff side (a plus if you're balling on a budget). Aside from there not being too many people, this place was adequate. We just needed drinks and a place to catch up with friends. But I won't come back here on my own accord. I should try it again during the daytime and see what it's like when it's not Halloween night.

Great atmosphere. The food is great and the drinks are strong but not overpriced. You may run into someone famous there too.

Plenty of screens for watching sports and ok selection of beers. If you're a fan of salty burgers then THIS is the place. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend the food.

Solid spot to drink some brews and watch the games. Lots of TVs and attractive waitresses (if you care about that sorta thing lol) Food was fair, prices for drinks are a bit pricey but all in all a standard bar experience. I will be back---nothing bad about this place...if you're in this area and need a sports bar this could be your place!

My boyfriend and I came here with a groupon deal and loved it! The waitress who I believed was Meghan was SUPER attentive and friendly. I had a pear and spinach salad, I know weird to get at a bar, but it was amazing. Really refreshing. My boyfriend had hot wings and loved every last bite. But I have to say the best part of our meal were the ice cold beers. I hate warm beer and these were anything but!

Three stars says it all. Very basic, standard bar food, service, pricing, etc. So many TV's I caution those with epilepsy. Great place to watch sports if you don't have TV or Cable.

This Chipotle bbq burger is remarkably delicious. So much so that I'm remarking! Their fresh cut fries are pretty incredible too. I've also watched a number of Kings games here with good crowds. The upstairs is a great place to throw a party, with your own bartender too. I know this because of all too nice people inviting me and my friends to join their festivities. Big fan of this straight up sports bar. No headaches, just good times. I'll keep coming back.

Came by this past weekend on a Sunday to watch football. Small place and the food (shrimp with fries) was not that good. The shrimp were battered but not crunchy, kind of soggy. Then the Fired department guys just hung around for a few hours and it looked like they were looking for a hand out. The staff was really attentive and nice but everything else just didn't go together. Will I try it again? probably not.

This is a great sports bar if all you want to do is drink and watch sports. There are TV's everywhere, they have good drink and happy hour specials, even a pop a shot and I think golden tee if you want to play during half time. And a REAL dart board! We go here a lot because it is walking distance to my friend's place. The owner is a huge Michigan State Spartans fan, as are we, so we love going to watch the games there- you may as well be in east Lansing, it gets a little crazy/awesome. The biggest downfall to this place is the food. I have watched a lot of Bar Rescue, and after eating here a few times, I think Jon Taffer would have a heyday with the kitchen staff. I think they could make some small improvements to the quality of their food and be a lot more successful. I also think a place like this should have some type of brunch option. I was there on Sunday morning, drinking mimosas, but had to order lunch. It doesn't need to be fancy, but I bet a breakfast burrito along with a bottomless mimosa deal would sell like crazy. I also noticed some wilted lettuce on someone else's plate. If you're drunk, you re a lot more forgiving when it comes to the quality of food, but when you're sober- you are going to notice that wilted piece of lettuce. The days we go to watch MSU games, it is always packed, but then it seems to clear out pretty quick when the game is over. Making an improvement to the food menu may be one way to generate business and entice people to stick around. I noticed they are starting to have theme nights during the week- 80's night on Thursday and country night on maybe Mondays? I am intrigued and will need to check these out. Overall, this place is cool, I just feel it has so much more potential.

This is a pretty secure location, especially if you are a female arriving alone. There's a security guard who sits outside the main entrance, as well as gated parking. As far as interior goes, this place was very spacious... With many flatscreen televisions throughout the entire bar. Unfortunately, this place does not serve food. So, if you plan on doing a decent amount of drinking, make sure you eat from a location down the street first. If you are on a budget, you can order their well drinks... But, you'll wake up with a terrible headache the next day.

Location - not great Atmosphere - cool Food - good bar food Service - slow Televisions - everywhere Good place to watch the game. Service is invisible at times.

So I was bar hopping with my husband on a Tuesday night and they're drink specials are awesome; probably the only reason I'd come here...along with karaoke nights! They're also good for large groups-upstairs and downstairs. Haven't tried the food yet because every time I go it's past 10pm...(I believe their kitchen closes around 9 or 10pm). Manager's name is Giovanni and he said if you guarantee @ least 30 people for an event, they'll reserve a table, or something along those lines. Pretty chill spot!

  • Adam B.

Showed up for a beer and wing festivity. And...they're out of wings...lol. Seriously? I edited and bumped from 1-3 stars since they at least hooked us up with some free shots. Appreciate the effort. Cant be all mad at that. Edit again and bumping to 4 stars because even though its lame to be out of wings during playoff season, they went out of their way to make good and even sent out to get more wings. Gotta respect customer service like that. I will return simply based on the effort. Good job.

My inner fat kid rejoices at their menu: loaded cheese fries (not that fake liquid cheese this is the real deal that's BAKED) and the popcorn shrimp! (Originally from the south so I have high standards regarding seasoning for items like this) TVs EVERYWHERE! I will definitely be watching FSU games here.

Horrible on nearly every single measure by which you judge a bar. The bartenders and servers are fine, but the management is horrendous and often condescending and rude. This place has zero going for it. Pathetic establishment. I've given it many chances as I live close by. I'm done. Won't be back ever again. Don't bother coming here.

  • Trice H.

This place was ok. Went on a Sunday to watch football. It was definitely crowded and gave you a good sports atmosphere. I'm not sure if this establishment is new but it seems that way. Waitresses weren't the best and they ran out of clean classes at one point. so it seems new. However, the food was good and reasonably priced and they have a lot of TVs to watch the games. So, I would go back.

"BANDS BEWARE - Do NOT book at this venue. My lead singer booked a full night of music - 4 bands running from 8-Midnight. They agreed to pay us a percentage of the bar outright if we brought 100 people, but once we said "no problem" they capped it at $250. They do NOT have a band PA (it's house speakers with no monitoring), nor stage lights as they said they did. We got lucky that one of the bands brought a PA to use. After starting an hour late because of a hockey game, each band performing their set, and having plenty of drinks - we were told we were only getting HALF of what was originally promised to us. Not only did one band member have to fight with the staff to get the bands DISCOUNTED drinks, they weren't going to pay? It got to the point where one of the owners said they were coming down to handle the situation "MAN TO MAN". So not only did they steal from the bands that performed (each band was populated by college educated musicians), but threaten the people who were trying to fix the situation. They tried justifying it left and right and eventually landed on the "discounted" drinks as the reason they weren't going to pay us the full amount. THEY'RE NOT DISCOUNTED THEN. This place has no idea how to host live music, and has no respect for the people who provide that service, as well as those willing to help places like the man-cave transition into a venue (we were their first live music night). It's just another forgettable bar."

Just popped in today cause I got a shit ton of fliers put on my car this past week. The postcard ad was pretty cool...had good images of the space and some of the food and a lot of info on the goings on in the establishment. The best was the "FREE APP" when you present the card. Hey, I'm always down for some free food with my beer! Who isn't? So I pop in to The Man Cave (used to be The Casting Office which I liked) and it looks similar to the way it's always been. Alright. It was pretty dead there. Two guy sitting at a table, on lady at the end of the bar...and I believe the owner was at the other end of the bar sipping on ice water. All the TV's were on, there was one waitress and one bartender. He was cool, friendly, he gave me change to feed my meter...yes I gave him a dollar for the quarters...although they don't have change in their till...he pulled it from his pocket. Cool. I made sure my meter was full up...cause parking has ALWAYS SUCKED THERE. I presented my card and ordered some hot wings. I drank a couple cold Fat Tires and ate the wings that I thought would be hotter, but hey, they can't all be 3 Mile Island or hotter....right? They were good, I'd still prefer Hooters though....more eye candy and better wings, colder mugs, colder beer. But The Man Cave was alright. I don't imagine I'd go back as a regular...but I do have about a dozen of those damn postcard fliers that were stuck to my windshield and windows the last week so I'll go in for more free appetizers for sure!!! I got enough to try everything on the app menu! But I'll skip the cheap stuff like cheese fries or jalapeno poppers. Hey, if they're gonna give it to ya for FREE, ya gotta get the most bang for your buck! Shit, they'll make it back in booze.....they did off me!!! Good Luck to The Man Cave....I hope they do alright.....

Eh... Where to begin. We went to watch the kings game last night and as we walk in there's a band setting up. Now I'm all for live music... If I'm aware I'm going to a music club. This is a sports bar. Why a band? Anyway we pick a table and sit down. We had to ask them to put the game on which blows my mind. We're 10 miles from the Staples Center where the hell is your pride? The only other sporting event on at the time was a boxing match between 2 no name fighters. Our waitress came up to get our drink order. She was a really pretty blonde with a not so pretty attitude. You could tell she had no desire to be there. I tried to be overly polite and smile but she never broke even half a grin. And it's not like I was creeping on her, I was there with my girlfriend so we were both a little baffled by the cold shoulder. You'd make better money if you at least pretended like you like people. The band is still setting up and this is where I really start getting annoyed. The fucking drummer (they're the worst, aren't they?!) will not stop hitting various drums. We get it dude, you drum. But even worse he's hitting the hi-hat over and over and over and I'm like. Hey. Guy. What the fuck are you doing, "tuning" it? We got our drinks they were eh. We both ordered food, which didn't take to long and it wasn't bad quality. I scarfed down my burger as quickly as possible because the band started and holy hell were they awful. The vocals would make dogs howl they were so out of pitch and key. Not to mention no one was there even watching them. What's the point of booking a band if they successfully drive out 2 of the only customers you had? We asked for our tab and before we even left someone came by and turned our game off. This place is clearly not a hockey bar. If the man cave upped its sports game to give people some variety, made the servers at least PRETEND a little, and stopped booking bands (seriously. I don't want to hear live music at a sports bar. I already have my spots for that.) they could be fun. But clearly the mostly empty place on a Saturday night should have tipped us off. We'll keep looking for a Kings friendly local hang elsewhere.

Went to watch the Detroit/Dallas game here and it has a good setup. The food was good and the beer was average price. Good for ventura though, :) This is a Lion's bar and the people were pretty cool and everyone was having fun.

I will not recommend this place. If you are a single guy like me, be prepared to be asked, no , be told to sit at the bar, even if one of the staff seated you at a table for 2. I had been going weekly to watch football and for a big game, got told by one of the owners I had to sit at the bar which was not showing the game I wanted to see. Food was not good, service was equally bad

this is a dark, dingy bar with rude staff and terrible food. i suppose if you're a robotic sports fan, enjoy eating what you didn't order, and drinking warm beer, then this is the place for you! MINUS 5 STARS!

Today is the bar's first day - October 20th. It took over for The Casting Office which sadly didn't survive. We came here for some football and some drinks and snacks. We were not disappointed. There's definitely a learning curve and the bartenders are a bit green and the kitchen is taking a little longer but this spot has a lot of potential. Large space, with a whole second floor. They don't have a drink menu yet so nothing I can really comment on there but the food menu is extensive. We ordered the mahi tacos, which were kinda meh (hopefully they'll change the fish they use soon) as well as the cave wings which were delicious and the popcorn shrimp which, I kid you not, was one of the best things I have ever eaten. Very lightly breaded with just the perfect crunch and flavor. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! Overall, the atmosphere is great and I'm positive I'll be coming here often. Also, there's a raffle for a football jersey every Thursday night. I'm not a huge fan of the name and the concept but I think this bar is going to overcome that and become a wonderful local spot. I definitely recommend it to my fellow yelpers. And try the popcorn shrimp. You'll thank me when you do.

Went to the Man Cave on Sunday night to get some Wings!! Music was Louder than a Kiss/Metallica Concert. So Much so my ears were ringing when I left after Waiting Over 45 Minutes for my Chicken Wings!!! The Place was not even 1/4 full. Did I mention the wings were the size of my Pinky? :(

I have a friend who works in the building and this place is in one of those locations that seems to have a curse. So whenever they change owners or themes like going from the casting lounge to the man cave. The parking will always suck here. Other than that the food didn't impress me, epic burger? Really is it? I was a little annoyed because I walked in with my friend around three in the afternoon when the place had maybe one or two other customers and it seemed like the staff was in joke around and don't try hard mode. Everything about the place was just three star bar food. The way they have the tv's setup might be cool on game day but they were all on random daytime weekday espn when we dropped in for lunch.

The Man Cave is great, whether your stopping by for an after work cocktail or to watch your favorite sports. The beer is cold, and the wings and burgers are GOOD....I always have pleasant experience, and the owner "Eddie" is super...!!! Oh and if your a fight fan this is the place to be. No cover...!!!

Only had Guinness myself. But the beer tasted really clean, so they have good taps. Nice solid beer selection, although I'd prefer Golden Road's IPA instead of their hef. Bartender was friendly, but she poured our Guinesses half way, walked away for a minute, and forgot about them for over ten minutes, talking to other customers. She didn't know the happy hour specials. This could be fixed with more training, though. Bar has outlets and coat hooks under the counter, a nice touch. And they have a metric @#$&load of monitors! Friend ordered the popcorn shrimp. It was a smattering of shrimp over a pile of fries. (Update the menu) He sent it back, not wanting the fries, and ordered the lettuce wraps instead. They were good. But when the check came, the shrimp were still on it. And the happy hour price for Guibess was six bucks! What is this, Beverly Hills? I think not. Parking isn't great, and it cost them a star. Lack of familiarity and attention by the bartender, and their prices, cost them another one. There are many places to get a Guinness at decent happy hour prices, so it's hard to reccomend them fo that. They do have a lot of screens, though. Sports fans may enjoy it.

Came here a few weeks ago with my sis and our two teen daughters. The place was nice and not very full ( on a fri around 8). We ordered 5 randomness things from the menu (Chicken tacos, hot wings, veggie burger, man cave burger, and mozzarella sticks) 4 of the 5 were awful tasting. No seasoning or not fully cooked and just unappealing. The owner Eddie was very nice and took it off of the bill and said that he was going to get a new kitchen staff! I didn't think anything about it. So today, I took a girlfriend there to check it out to see if she may want to have a get together there and maybe have them cook just a couple foolproof items. We get there, look at the spot which she loved! Ordered a couple of things; onion rings, and sweet potato fries and they were delicious this time! I asked the bartender and she said there's a whole new kitchen staff and they are going to do even more revamping of the menus. I was impressed, also the drinks were much better than the weak ones we got before. I will definitely keep this place as a spot to hang out! The atmosphere, the MANY tv's with different sports playing, the good music and NOW, the good food and drinks. The owner seems very involved in the process of getting things in order and running the place while making his customers happy!

Went to this spot w/ a few friends to watch the games on Sunday. The place has a weird lay-out and is not really condusive to sitting with a group and watching games because they have mostly 4 tops so hard to enjoy the game "together" when your watching tv's that are opposite of each other. Food / Beverages - Burger was tasty - fries (both orders) were burned and not seasoned. i orded the "loaded" fries and they were pretty bland - not sure how that's possible. The weird thing about the place is there's about 4 guys (owners/managers?) walking around but not really engaging with customers kind of just stalking - seems like more interested in chatting up waiteresses. The waitress we had was nice. Very pretty woman and she was pretty attentive. I can't say I'd go there again.

Noope!! This place is so over priced, and their food isn't all that great. I had the pastrami burger (for $12),.. it was alright, the pastrami was to tough, the burger was SUPER messy, and there was more bread than meat. We also had the wings. $11 for 8 freakin wings, and they weren't some big meaty wings. I think the wings I get at the supermarket have more meat on them. Bottom line, super pricey for sub par food. Oh but the staff is pretty nice and friendly.

Welcome to our neighborhood. Oh Wow....look out, I'm a baby boomer, so I may be your father's age or maybe even your grandpappy if you sport a fake ID. Read on before I get to our fantastic Super Bowl experience in The Cave. We live just up the hill behind the Cave and have seen several places come and go in this spot over the last 13 years. Last fall while in mid-morph from the Casting Office (RIP) we strolled past the soon-to-be Cave and came upon Eddie, one of the principals while he was hard at work on getting the Cave ready. Good guy and we had high hopes for a welcome spot that is walkable from our casa. Eddie informed us of the owners and their experience in operating this sort of place which is a good thing. He also told us that there would be 60 TV's....cool and that unlike the previous occupant, all of the screens showing a particular game would be synchronized....ask me to explain if you're a real techster.... Prior to Super Bowl Sunday (SBS), we had a preliminary dinner there about a month ago while watching one of the Lakers many losses. Me? Good spinach salad with chicken....tasty dressing and reasonable portion. She? Some of the best tacos ever. Me again....nice IPA.....She again....Grey Goose martini....Good service...no problem... Fast forward to SBS....We do Hot Yoga at Corepower upstairs from The Cave. We did a long, hot class a couple of hours before kickoff so we each sweated off a couple of pounds so we were ready for adult bevs.....Oh, we did shower before entering the Cave. AT THE CAVE.....We arrived about 10 minutes before the slaughter began. Eddie found us two choice seats at the extreme left end of the bar. The Cave was packed with football fans and maybe even a few people in the sex trade....(Okay, an embellishment, but The Cave is next door to Vivid Entertainment). On cue, one of the already stressed but happy bartendresses took our order...one Grey Goose rocks for her (of course) and a lovely Goose Island IPA for the testicle owner in our party (I know, I know...insert pussy whipped comment here)....We also ordered some BBQ wings (chicken, not skate, osprey or buzzard).....The game began and as we enjoyed out drinks, we saw that keeping all of the patrons well fed and adequately hydrated was going to be a challenge, but in the end, The Cave was up to the task. Crazy as you might visualize, there was a 911 call and the fire department paramedics showed up in a well lit rig right outside the bar..... It seems that one of the cooks was injured....again, The Cave handled the pressure much better than the Denver Donkeys did that day. Okay....just as I was finishing my beer the bartender offered me a Black and Coke for free because it was a drink she made in error and it I didn't drink it she would throw it out. Thank you lady. A few minutes later, my wife's Goose was followed by another bartender boo boo, a margarita. The wings came and I must say that not only were they delicious, but that they must have come from a dwarf turkey because they were huge.....all the better to prepare us for more drink. I followed my freebie with a spicy Bloody Mary (after all it was Sunday) which I washed down with, you guessed it, another gratis....(vodka and soda) that my wife allowed me to have because after all, the Bloody had vodka in it. We went on to enjoy more food.....she had more yummy tacos and I had the meatloaf which was really, really, good, served with grilled veggies and nice creamy mashed potatoes (as if I needed more carbs). At this point the bartenders' accuracy improved so we moved on to drinking the very drinkable petite sirah that they serve by the glass. She and I are not unfamiliar with quality food. We've spent way too much money vacationing in Spain and France the last two summers and we wouldn't say that the Cave food was good unless it was. So, in closing, eat there, drink there and remember Uber, taxis and public transportation.

We came here for a Cooley high event. Told it was $10 to get it. Lady charged us $20 then added, "um you know it's $20 each..." like we were broke lol. We ordered two non-top shelf drinks... $26!! We ordered wings about 15 minutes into the movie.; When Cochise got killed, we still didn't have our food. My girl canceled the order. The waitress offers us chicken tenders and I take it and my girl gets pissed at me taking it because I didn't hear the waitress tell us that they were for another person who left and that's why she asked us if we wanted it but heck, I was hungry. I used to come her for my lunch breaks back when it was called the casting office (or something), but this was our last time coming here. Overpriced and not attentive.

How this place has even three stars is a travesty to all food and drink establishments. I've been dragged here a few times by people, the latest being a kickball event. The bouncer tried charging me $10 to get in. Are you f@#$ing kidding? You're not a Hollywood club, you're a pointless second-rate sports bar in a dull location. Drinks are overpriced, food is mediocre at best. I've seen the owners getting drunk with patrons on a couple occasions while the understaffed single bartender tries running the place herself. Here's to hoping I never get dragged here against my will again.

This bar is so much fun! I am a Spartan alum so I come for almost every football/basketball game since I have moved to LA. The vibes are super friendly and the owner has always been really attentive, which says something when the bar is overflowing with people re-living their college days in a Saturday afternoon. The drinks are always strong and the beer is always cold! If you're an MSU alumni or just looking for a good sports bar in studio city you should definitely check out The Man Cave!

My friends and I came here to watch "Empire" one night. It was my first time coming to this cool little bar. It has a nice location and was easy to find. There are tv's everywhere and happy hour specials. It would be perfect for watching games and for fight events. Because of the name, my expectation was that it would feel more like a Man Cave, you know, just a little more manly. I think they should get rid of the girly drinks altogether and specialize in manly drinks, perhaps add a cigar room. A few small quality improvements would make this place one of my go-to spots. Overall, this place is cool and I would definitely go back.

I came here last Friday night with my friends and we had a really good time. My husband and his friend played with their basketball game all night and got so good at it that they started to build up an audience to see if they could beat the high score. They also had a digital shuffle board but it wasn't as fun as the basketball. They should get a real shuffle board and more games! We didn't have any of the food so can't comment on that but the bartenders were very friendly, attentive, handled a large crowd quickly and poured some damn strong drinks! We'll be back to soon to watch some football and order some food :)

This place CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!! 2 hours for NO FOOD!!! 40 minutes after I placed my order, they tell me they don't have pasta. Fine, just bring me my fries i ordered. 2 hours in STILL NO FOOD, I told the waitress to CANCEL ALL FOOD from my bill. They had 2 waitresses serving the top floor, INSANE. NEVER AGAIN ordering food from here. Actually, NEVER COMING BACK. If you come, 15 waitresses downstairs, 2 upstairs. Do the math, STAY DOWNSTAIRS. If I could rate this NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD, I'm forced to give 1.

This place is awful. My boyfriend really wants to support this place because it's a Spartan bar, so I'll come here if he really wants to watch a game with his MSU friends. I am sitting here at the man cave right now actually, during the sweet 16 game. There is one waitress trying to serve the entire establishment. Poor woman. This place is losing money because there literally is one person working the tables. One. A bar full of basketball fans watching march madness would make a bar tons of money...if the patrons could order anything. I've been here for an hour and a half and I have had one beer. I'm hungry. The only vegetarian option is not available. There are no paper towels in the restroom. This chair is uncomfortable and I am very unimpressed. I'll let him come alone next time. I promise I'm not normally this bitchy. But this is bad. :-(

Service sucks. Don't know if the food is decent or not. If you drop something on thevground don't. put it on the plate with food u are serving.

This is a decent place to watch major sporting events and occasionally has celebs (for those who care for such). It gets very crowded right before the start of the feature event and customer service almost goes to sh*t. The servers appear to do their best, but they're typically overworked and the waiter to patron ratio could easily be 1 to 50. There are 2 levels with a bar each, and several flat screen tvs.

Doesn't matter if it's packed or empty.. WORST SERVICE IN STUDIO CITY. My friend worked there when it was different management and now you can tell its not the same. DONT EVER GO HERE.. Place need to be shut down stat! (Side note, wings are bomb!)

This didn't feel like much of a man cave. Well, not what I expected for a man cave. It didn't really seem to have a strong identity -- which is weird, because a bar named Man Cave should have only 1 ever-present theme, yeah? I feel very ill equipped to make such a judgement. However, If I could only give 2.5 stars, I would. I was encouraged by the NFL signs and flags outside of the bar, and the prominent display of TVs all around the bar, but I almost couldn't bring myself to walk in the door -- because louder-than-ever-necessary music was blaring! But, I pushed my husband past the door -- the Colts game was starting in 15 minutes, and we didn't have time to go anywhere else. There was no escaping the speakers. When a waitress approached us at our table, we had to yell over the music ask her if they were even going to play they game. She assured us they would be and that the music would be turned off at kick off. Ok, I was satisfied. Hell, if the game sound was as loud as this music, I'd be one happy camper. AFTER kick-off, however, the bartender reluctantly turned off the juke box so we could hear the game from one speaker set on the TV across the room. If this were a real Man Cave, I feel like football (or other sport) would take priority over anything on the jukebox. We watched just the first half of the game - the jukebox came back on with :20 left before half time. There were plenty of people there, eager to watch football, some seemed like regulars, so this place DEFINITELY pleases many patrons. And I was really impressed with the intensity of the people watching the game. One guy wore a full football uniform - even the helmet. This is someone's ideal iteration of a man cave - but, for me, I'm still in search of the perfect place to watch my Colts out here on the west coast.

I will start off by saying this one star is being nice. This place by far is one of the worse bars I've been to in a long time. I was sent an email to check this place out for the Superbowl. We knew that the bars would be crowded so, we arrived early. However, we get there only to be told that we had to be tucked away in a corner of non reserved seats. I was irritated but, I was still willing to give the place the benefit of the doubt. Our server had no room to be successful because she had a large area to cover. It took 15 minutes to even put in a drink order and like 20 minutes to get my overpriced drink. I ordered a po boy sandwich about an hour before the game started I ended up getting it a little after the game started. I'll say the food was average. Since we were told we had to spend a minimum of $25 I decided I was done ordering. All I saw was a disorganized sloppy bar. They were not prepared to handle such a crowd. If you come across this place keep it moving, you have been warned.

Never again! Owners had 1 server on for 200 people on a Friday night and they sat watching the game while 1 girl tried to serve the entire restaurant. And beer and soda were flat but good luck trying to switch out your drink with no staff available

This is the worst bar I've ever been to in my life. Crowded NBA Finals night and one waitress in the place. The bartender wouldn't even make eye contact with us even though we clearly wanted drinks. We stood there at the bar for 15 minutes with no help. A table finally opened up and one girl said she'd be right back with drinks. She never came back. We got there at halftime, finally got 3 beers in the middle of the 4th quarter. I'm surprised the bartender didn't want to make the place money and get more in tips by helping people standing at the bar. I promise I'll never go here, and you shouldn't either.

Man cave, hmmmm. You have to give the owner props for having the gnads to call this place man cave. Overall, pretty cool. Dig the TV's and the staff. Beware the nachos. Someone please fire the nacho maker. They were the worst I've had. My wife and I went for the World Cup and were stoked. The waitress was great and the drinks were good. All of the sudden we had an idea to get some snacks. We got some wings and steak Nachos. The wings were good, but the steak nachos were blah. We ordered nachos, but got chips with a little nachos and two chunky balls of wtf steak. If you are going to charge 14 for nachos, at least add cheese and salsa like the menu says. After reading the other posts, please Replace the cooks and this place would be 4 to 5 stars. I added a pic of our lame nachos for you all to check out.

Meh... I've watched 7 soccer games here with a large crowd and it was just fine in that they have a good amount of space for standing and many TV's. But I would not come here much outside of that... they are expensive with both food & drink ; the food is super basic bar/ pub grub and it's hard to really F that up. It is in a relatively nice/ expensive area in Studio City and walking distance to Universal Studios. The decor looks kinda slapped up there, but not in a cool "mancave" way, more sloppy & haphazard. Just boring really, but has it's good points... the wait staff was very friendly and on point with every customer! Everyone works as a team! They had 4 waitresses, and 4 guys who were kitchenstaff and maybe a manager/ owner constantly getting orders in & out. It was fairly busy & to keep pace the way they did made me give them 3 stars.

Super nice location!! Lots and lots and lots of TV's all over the place. If there's a big game on, this is where you wanna be. The service is ok...not really attentive but it's a sports bar so it's expected i guess. The food is just ok. My fries were burnt so eat before you go.

Place is cool and never had problems but today we had to wait 40 minutes for the chest to get here and that wasn't amazing.

We work upstairs from this place and although the service was always good, the food wasn't as good. There was a change in beginning of June in the kitchen and now the food is great.

Came here for the clipper game and the fight. Food took over a hour and when it finally was delivered it was severely over cooked. It's like it was on the grill the whole hour. Not happy. Doubt I'll come back. And the service was atrocious. Good luck if you decide to try.

Great people, great food and just a good time around! They have two levels with two bars. Great place to watch sports and even just to kick back and relax with your friends! Every time I am here I always leave with a smile on my face!!! It's still new, so they are still getting the word out about them being open, but so far so!! Can't wait to come back!!

Wow.. Where to start? First visit.. I had suggestions on how to improve the place: lose the heavy dumb door, add sloppy joes or tator tots to the menu- the bald co-owner was bothered that I cared enough to offer suggestions. Then they messed up my order and at the end they messed up my check but in my favor forgetting to add my watered down drinks. Argh. They wanted promotional events but weren't willing to properly compensate for our troubles. -- my most recent return was the other day and although I'd hoped it's gotten better, nope it's worst. They close the kitchen at like 10:30!! On a Saturday!! Well smart move- I walked to IN & OUT instead. I wanted White Russians but they no cream/milk and how's this.. They had no peanuts/pop corn/beef jerky at the bar!? Man-cave more like Man-hole as in butthole. My friend ordered these frozen cocktail Popsicles but AS SOON AS THEY WENT TO GET HERS I told her watch.. They won't have your flavor. Sure enough they only had two left in the flavor nobody wanted. PLEASE AVOID THIS S-hole. Seriously.

We came to watch the San Fran vs packer game and showed up about 20 mins before the game. The place was pretty empty so the service was pretty good. About halfway through the the first quarter they got super busy and full. It took about 45 mins to get my burger which was ordered medium - it came out well done, like burned well done so I didn't eat it. We had a party of 8 who all had the same issue, super long wait times for food which ended coming out not as ordered. When we finally got the bill we realized that they charged 21$ for a pitcher of beer which is super exaggerated. I've never paid that much - ever. Maybe they charge more for beer in studio city?? Pitchers on average are anywhere between 15-18 at the most. I asked the bartender what they charged for a pitcher and he said 26, I asked another bartender and she said 24. So it seems like they just charge whatever they can get away with? Prices for drinks are not on the menu. The only thing they got going is the quantity of TVs. Everyone in our group decided that we wouldn't come back. Food was bad, service wasn't great and pricing is ridiculous. Not for me.

The first time I came here was amazing. The bartenders were fun. The Manager was great. Even the last time I was there was good. Put on the Badgers and gave me sound even with the Michigan State game on. In a bar called the Man Cave, however, the only drawback was the dude behind the bar. His lack of sports knowledge would be excusable if his service made up for it. I often sat with an empty glass during slow business hours. I'd still return to watch a game, but if you have a guy behind the bar he better have great service or at least some kind of knowledge about sporting events.

Food is great. It's large. There are flat screens everywhere to watch the game. It's in a prime location and it's a great place for Spartans like myself to catch up. Almost makes me feel like I'm back in MI. Cool down to earth people hang out there. I will certainly be back.

A great after-work vibe, but consistently bad service by the waitresses to the degree that its almost comical. The food is good, but by the time you get it, you dont even want it anymore because they take so long with everything. And that's assuming that your order was put into the kitchen correctly! I really want to support this establishment, but it wouldn't feel right to give them anymore of my money because the service really is just that bad.

Waitress was rude. Waited about an hour for our food and it was crap. Pitchers were way overpriced. We got 3 different prices it seems like the charge whatever they can get out of the customer.

First time here. Very disappointed. Food, over cooked. Sat at the bar. Bartender was too busy making drinks for his female friend to notice me and my girlfriend. After 10 mins of trying to get his attention, had to ask his co worker to get his attention. With the proper training of bar staff, this place has potential. If not , it will fail.

Not just for a man but definitely a low key place for chicks to have fun, not have to wear fancy clothes and drink /eat with friends. Not only is the food yummy (especially there sliders) but the staff is by far the most hospitable/coolest down to earth ppl in this side of reality. I'm excited to come with my girls for fantasy football and my man for PlayStation galore. Thanks for opening up "man cave" ;)

Good food, big screens and lots of them, friendly people. And most important of all: nice waitresses, especially Tova, who made our football day that much better. Seats are a little uncomfortable, but then again I was there for six hours. Great fries. The hallmark of a good sports bar is their fries.

Very disappointed. Nothing man cave like about this place. It the Casting Office with more TV's. Staff is young, immature, and not well trained. Beer is the same you get in every bar in every city. Food was bad. Fish in the Fish n Chips was so tough couldn't cut it with a knife. Waitress made no effort to replace it. Over priced. Will not be going back. Too bad I thought it would be a good place to hang out and watch football and hockey.

So went to the man cave for the 2nd time, I always give places a try twice before I write a review. Anyway when I was there last week I told them they need to take care of all the glares on the tvs you can not even see what's on them it's terrible and they did nothing about it. I also had some food there last week and it was horrible I was hoping it was just a bad day, but no it was not, me and my friends all got food ranging from salads to wings to salmon, and it was so bad we tried eating some of it but it was not edible. I'm done with this place, it's probably not gonna be around to long since the owners don't seem to care what the customers think. And it's a sports bar but you can't see the tvs!!!!!!! Alright off to shit my pants cause of the food!!!!!!

Decent selection of domestic beers. Bartender was nice and was a beer EXPERT. The hot chicken sandwich was decent, but the balsamic dressing on the salad is fragrant, flowery, and should be avoided at all costs. My friend had to send back his nasty salad and dry turkey burger. Nice TVs, good sunlight. Almost empty at lunch on a Friday.

My boyfriend and I went to the Man Cave to use a groupon. We sat down and waited 8 minutes until we were greeted by our server (and it was slow, not busy at all.) There were a few tables of younger people in the bar, and one table of older gentleman. The table of men left soon after we arrived, and that's when one of the staff members turned up the music so loud we could not even talk to each other! We moved to a different table because ours was directly under a speaker. Our server came back over (not even asking why we moved) and told us about happy hour drink specials. We both wanted happy hour drinks but when I told her we had a groupon, she said we couldn't use it for that. I said Ok no problem, we'll buy the drinks separate and use the groupon on food only. She went and checked with the manager if that would be ok, and to my surprise she came back and said no. So I guess we can't drink here now? Seems silly if we were willing to pay for the drinks separate, they're only loosing money by saying No. We told her we needed time to think. After hearing three horrible songs still at full volume we decided to leave. And honestly, I never want to go back.

There's no reason to go here. None. I'm actually writing this from the bar since I have the time. In the bartenders defense there are 6 people at the bar and only 2 bartenders. That must be overwhelming. Came here one other time and there was a guy working who was great, but it seems Sundays they resort back to the "I'm bitchy because I think it makes me sexy because I'm actually void of a real personality and my dad screwed up raising me" style bartenders. Go to any other bar or buy a 40 and sit in a ditch with your iPhone as opposed to coming here.

I was at Man Cave a couple of weeks ago with a friend and we were given drink passes a while back. The bartender a couple of weeks ago was great, she knew customer service and how to treat a customer. This is why I returned yesterday thinking the service was going to be just as good. It wasn't only BAD but i was also gifted the free drink coupons and even though there is no expiration date on it. It was not honored stating that someone made copies so they don't honor them anymore. After we were informed of that they proceeded to help the few people around us until we were able to get their attention to order. The beer was ice cold and I loved that! Then we saw on the menu (we were going to order food) that drinks were 2 for 1 upto 7pm. We said great because if you're not going to accept your own coupon then at lease we can take advantage of this 2 for 1. Well, we were then informed it was only for mixed drinks and that they no longer honored that offer. I suggested they change their menu. The bartender was sarcastic stating "they are". Fine after our second beer we walked down the block to get food. I would have contacted the owner/manager but looking at all the bad reviews and others who tried that route and were unsuccessful I decided it was best to just write a review. Too bad this place can actually be good if they had better customer service. It would have been nice to have a good neighborhood bar.
